Hi, I am Akilah.

But you can call me Aki.

I grew up in a small city near Montreal, rearranging furniture, building things with my sister, and making films with my friends.

Barbados is where my three biggest loves since childhood finally came together: video, design and construction.

to something real.

What do you want the space to do? What needs to stay?

Send me a message through my website or Instagram. Tell me about your project, your timeline and your budget. We’ll see if we’re a good fit to work together.

Explore the ideas.

We find a direction and decide what makes sense for your project.

I’ll share an estimate with a first glimpse of the direction: a few images and ideas to help you picture the possibilities. If you decide to move forward, we’ll build on that starting point.

Bring it to life.

I get hands-on and bring in people I choose for the parts that need other skills.

Once the project is approved, we’ll work through the details and find the right people to make it happen. I get hands-on where I can and bring in specialists for the parts that need their expertise.

Share the story.

For projects we film, people get to follow the transformation and meet the humans behind it.

People connect with people. For projects we film, I share the transformation through the people behind it: their ideas, their work and their story. It’s a way to help others connect with your business, beyond the finished space.
